Bracketts Chartered Surveyors embark on Net Zero journey! We are proud to announce our partnership with Net Zero Now as Bracketts Chartered Surveyors start Net Zero journey. With a rich history in the property and real estate sector (dating back almost 200 years!), we understand the significance of sustainability and its impact on our environment.

The global scientific community agrees that reaching Net Zero is the best chance we have of keeping global warming to manageable levels and the UK government has set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
Net Zero Now aim to make the process of going Net Zero as accessible and easy as possible and is dedicated to helping companies such as Bracketts measure their carbon footprints. This enables them to implement meaningful changes that significantly reduce emissions. By conducting a comprehensive audit of our current carbon output, we will gain valuable insights that guide our sustainability efforts.

Once the audit is completed, Net Zero Now will assist Bracketts in setting tailored short- and long-term emission reduction targets specific to our industry. This will include strategies focused on enhancing energy efficiency, assessing our supply chain impact, and addressing employee commuting and travel practices.
At Bracketts, we are already committed to sustainability through our tree planting initiative, Trees for Homes. This is where we plant a tree for every house we sell or let and to date, we have planted over 1,000 trees, contributing positively to our local environment and furthering our commitment to carbon reduction.

We are also grateful to Amplifi, a Tunbridge Wells-based initiative, for their support in connecting us with Net Zero Now. Amplifi fosters collaboration among local businesses, providing a platform to discuss innovative ideas and initiatives aimed at cutting carbon emissions.
At Bracketts Chartered Surveyors we’re delighted to begin our journey to becoming a Net Zero business. We know our staff, customers and the local community want to see us take action on climate change and understanding the sources of our emissions is the first step. We’re determined to reduce our emissions and build a more sustainable future for our business, the local community and ultimately our planet, writes Tyson Sheppard, Chartered Building Surveyor and Partner at Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge based Estate Agents, Bracketts.

As we take these significant steps toward sustainability, we invite our clients and partners to join us in this vital journey. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our community and contribute to a greener future. For more information on our sustainability initiatives, visit our website or contact us directly.
