Through our partnerships with THG More Trees, Veritree, and Forest Focus, we arrange for these trees to be planted in Kenya. These organizations collaborate with local communities, empowering people living in extreme poverty to produce, plant, and protect millions of trees each month. This initiative not only fosters environmental sustainability but also supports economic development in these communities.
To ensure that our trees thrive and grow into mature forests, our partners arrange for native species to be carefully selected and planted in optimal locations at the right times of year. This thoughtful approach maximises the trees’ potential to flourish and contribute to their ecosystems.
This initiative plays a crucial role in combating climate change and the trees we have planted are expected to capture approximately 1,800 tonnes of carbon dioxide over their lifetime. To put this into perspective, this amount of carbon dioxide is equivalent to the emissions produced by approximately 1,200 round-trip flights between London and Paris.
