As the oldest firm of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents in West Kent, we understand the importance of protecting our planet for future generations. We have taken meaningful steps to reduce our environmental impact and support sustainability initiatives that make a real difference in our local community and beyond.
Initiative #1
Trees for Homes
A tree planted for every sale and letting.
Our Trees for Homes Scheme is a key part of our commitment to sustainability. Since 2022, we have partnered with More Trees to plant a tree for every house we sell or let. This initiative not only helps absorb carbon dioxide but also supports reforestation efforts in Mombasa, Kenya, where mangrove forests play a vital role in protecting biodiversity and local livelihoods.
By restoring these forests, we are helping to create employment opportunities for local communities, improve water quality, and protect ecosystems that are essential for climate resilience. Through our ongoing efforts, we have already planted over 1,000 trees, with many more to come.

Net Zero Now
Working towards a carbon-neutral future.
Bracketts is committed to reducing its carbon footprint, which is why we have partnered with Net Zero Now to take the necessary steps towards becoming a Net Zero business. We recognise that the property sector has a significant environmental impact, and we are dedicated to adopting sustainable practices that contribute to a greener future.
Through our collaboration with Net Zero Now, we are measuring and actively reducing our emissions, improving energy efficiency, and making informed choices about how we operate. By working towards Net Zero, we are helping to future-proof our business while making a positive impact on the environment.

Amplifi
Taking action for a sustainable business community.
Last year, Bracketts proudly joined Amplifi, a Tunbridge Wells-based initiative that brings businesses together to promote sustainable practices. Through Amplifi, we engage with other local businesses to exchange ideas, take actionable steps towards reducing our carbon footprint, and contribute to the region’s wider sustainability efforts.
By participating in Amplifi, we are ensuring that sustainability is integrated into our day-to-day operations, from minimising waste in our offices to supporting eco-conscious property solutions. We are excited to be part of a community working towards meaningful environmental change.
