Last week, Bracketts Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents proudly attended and exhibited at the highly anticipated West Kent Business Expo at the Riverside Centre in Tonbridge, Kent. This event offered a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses, share our expertise, and learn more about the innovative companies driving growth in our region.

Our team, led by partners Nick Butler MRICS and Dominic Tomlinson MRICS, was joined by colleagues Matt Saxby, Holly Hales, and Abbey Mitchell. Together, we showcased the full range of services that Bracketts offers, including residential and commercial property advice, surveying, and estate agency services. Our team had the chance to engage with attendees, answer questions, and provide tailored insights on the current property market in West Kent.

The event was not only a great platform for us to engage with existing and potential clients but also for networking with other local businesses. A variety of exhibitors were present, each offering unique products and services. Notable companies included those in technology, marketing, finance, and more, all contributing to the vibrant local business ecosystem in Kent.

As a long-established company with deep roots in the region, Bracketts understands the importance of supporting and strengthening the local business community. The West Kent Business Expo was the perfect opportunity for us to meet fellow professionals, share knowledge, and forge new relationships that will benefit both our clients and the wider Kent community.

We were especially delighted by the variety of exhibitors and attendees, which included companies from a diverse range of industries, all showcasing their commitment to innovation and excellence. The event provided an invaluable chance to collaborate and exchange ideas with others who are equally dedicated to driving business forward in West Kent.

A big thank you to the organisers of the West Kent Business Expo for hosting such a successful event, and to everyone who stopped by our stand. We've just finished a tenancy with Bracketts and found the overall experience very positive. We had come from a rather negative experience with our previous letting agents in London and Bracketts were much more professional.

We had some viewings with other agents in Tunbridge Wells. One of these agents had stated that we would need to return for a followup interview with the landlord before our application would be considered, and that we should consider what we would to "incentivise" the landlord to go with us in terms of offering a higher rent to compete with other applicants. Needless to say, we did not proceed with that agent.

At our viewing with Bracketts they made it clear they didn't endorse betting wars on the part of the tenants: the price listed was the price that would go forwards. They were responsive throughout the tenancy, and though the building had a few age-related issues, Brackett's responded as well as possible.

Highly recommended if you're looking to rent in the area.

Matthew Saxby was our contact point at Bracketts. It was the second time we have trusted Matt to sell a house for us. Our property was outside of Tonbridge area, but Matt was still confident he could sell our house. It was not a straightforward transaction, and there were a few bumps in the road, but Matt was tenacious and solved problems, suggested alternatives and finally achieved the sale. Marketing of property was excellent, his market knowledge was critical. All calls and emails answered promptly, and the support team were brilliant too, with special thanks to Holly and Janice.

Probably not the easiest of property transactions ever performed but dealing with Bracketts made things an awful lot easier. Very helpful and efficient from start to finish, the whole team went considerably above and beyond to make sure of a successful outcome.
